we ordered golden roll (my whole lifetime, this is the damn first time i ate 8 separated sushi in golden roll!!!) soft shell crab pasta, sashimi pasta, small cheese lobster mentai, garlic rice, sashimi mentai SUSHI (treated by ah dee) soft shell crab tortilla and a few more.

we damn full by then that me and peishan couldnt eat the buffet at my house after which. lol.

i happened to see this old good friend of mine in her msn nick.
sounds emotional and i had this urge to pm her, telling her things will be fine for her.
i always wished her for the best in her rs and i never once told her to leave him, even though i've seen her quarreling with him on the phone before or things she told me that he did to upset her.

till then, i decided to drop by her blog but i couldnt spell out the address.
nonetheless, through links, i managed to find her blog website.

at least, im glad she's doing fine with current friends around her.

i had this sour feeling..
not jealousy i definitely know.

i felt i had lost this real good friend of mine.
i do miss talking to her, talking about almost anything.

i remembered i headed home very late the day before the morning walk.
all i could remember was i'd only pathetic of 4hours of sleep
before waking up at 7am in the morning and accompany my family to go wcp with my grandparents.

the time set by my dad was 7am leave house.
but in the end, the whole family woke up at 7am.
hahahahhaa.
my alarm rang at 6.30am i see none of the lights are on,
so i headed back to sleep.

mum woke me up with the reason of telling me having brunch after the walk at my auntie house.
so i was pretty tempted and i woke up the latest and they had to wait for me.
hehehhe.

but before the walk, headed to my uncle's coffeeshop at teban for brekkie!
had some soupy and some bread.
then we all are full geared for the morning walk!

it was pretty crowded as there was some malay events..
all we wanted was just to head to the sea side and breathe in some fresh air
mr uncle martin reached about 20mins later and we were so honoured that he was totally in for the morning walk!
he'd his sport shoes and sunglass on while all of us except grandparents were wearing slippers!
hahahahaha.

we took pictures with grandma as we dont really get to take with her.
she seems to be enjoying taking pictures but still in the end, she said she dont like to take photos.
hahahaha.
both are my elder brothers..
they dont really look alike. do they?

thats me and the two maids with grandma.
i think i look more like my 2nd bro? hahahahha
cos we both have fairer skin.
my 1st bro too but just that he always go for tan like swimming and outdoor sports.

as planned, we really did go to my auntie's house for brunch.

for some reasons, times, i wish things to turn out the way like i imagined.

you know the feelings when your heart hopes things to be like,
but yet your mind tells you that its impossible?

yes, i really do hate the feeling.
eg; i wish i can score an A for the EBA test without studying for it,
yet i know i've to study and still it depends if can score an A depending on the difficulty level of the paper.

im not referring to this example of course,
and reason is basically its just a common test paper.
as you know me well, it's all about relationship.

things that evolve me are family, friendship and relationship.
i cant deny that times i really do suck in any or all of this,
but as i grow older, i get to learn from mistakes and not make the mistakes again.

learning from mistake is one thing,
and not making the mistake is another thing.

since primary school, i always do face friendship problems because i know
everyday when i reach school, i see my favorite or best friends.
thats why i always treat them the best than anyone else,
but to some extent, i started having family problems due to friends problems.

for instance, where once, my mum told me not to be too close with this particular primary school friend.
apparently, i refused because i know she's the best-friend-forever in primary school.
whatever i do or wherever i go, i'd be with her.

but when my mum added on, 'her mum says you are bringing her bad.'
my heart kindof fell straight onto the ground.
i mean, why would parents think this way? we're just primary school friends and how will i bring her bad?
i scored full marks for mathematics test before and once a english subject top scorer. other than that, i play netball for sports.
will i bring her to take drugs or influence her to run away from home?

the lesson learnt was, no matter how friendship is tad close,
family will always come first.
but somehow, i always neglect the factor that family comes above all of these.

i know, i've to learn and cope with these three factors.
but when it comes to relationship,
love sweetness, small quarrels or huge fight, or all heartbreaking matters,
you start to feel.
yes, the word is feel.

you felt the love, warmth, considerate, thoughtful
bascially, its all love that you get when you're in a relationship.
but everytime, or once or twice, you're out of the relationship,
you felt the heartpain, the lost in confidence in yourself and the trust from anyone else.

to me, i'd say;

at the end of everything, you've no one but yourself.

it does not only applies to relationship but to all the things you do in life.
studies, thats the next best example.
you slug so hard to mug for exams is for yourself to have a better future and not your parents.
they work so hard thats why i'd be able to get a proper education.
in fact, i SHOULD be satisfied with everything i've gotten from my family.

times i really hope to remind myself that i should be doing the best for myself and next for my family.
the reason i said i really hope because, i know myself that i've no self-disciplined,
but i believe that as long as i've realised to achieve the target and have the filial piety 孝,
impossible is nothing.

life is never easy and things dont always go our way as we hope.

get to see my friends. my jjc friends to be exact.
they're really a group of friends who are nice approachable and, humorous to some extent. hahahaha.
well i passed the important job of asking who will be able to make it to yeemin.
and damn him he didnt come over because of kiddy problem.
lol. i know you read so i purposely wrote this.
damn you im so nice that i dont watch horror movie yet in the end agreed to watch it with you guys. you should be damn honoured! hahahaha.

anyway, people who came over are jane noelle jianwen zhengbao and elgin.
jeaneve couldnt make it last min because she was sick and i still played a prank on her through the phone hehehee.

they came around over around 5PM and we played a card game
which was introduced by jianwen but i forgot about the title of the game already.
it was pretty interesting and occupied the time we'd before the pizza arrvies!
i remembered in the end zhengbao still won the game though i managed to get his good card in the game!

then the pizza arrvies and we had gotten the table and chairs ready before the card game at the rooftop.
catch up with each other while enjoying pizzas!
honestly, i havent been eating pizza for very long already!
then sky get darkens and i went to get the two romantic bulbs get fix and light up.
hahahahha

so we started playing taboo!
when playing this game, i get to know who on the 'same channel' or 'different channel' from me.
i mean if i can get the way they describe or explain the words, means im on the 'same channel'. if not, i usually give up and hope i can be in the same team as someone else.
hahahahaha.

believe it or not, we played the game for around 2.5hours!
we're really so tired but yet some, like noelle still insisted to play the cards.
lol.
you know, the feeling like you just want to try and tell people the words but you didnt wish to guess the word?

overall it was a nice day, because it didnt rain!
and they werent choosy etc and the plan went smoothly!

i mean, sometime i'd already tried to be a good host but yet you expect more or already find it boring at the start, i'd really feel bad about it.

just to share w/ you guys the reason i'd planned three celebrations and not one is because i hope i can cope and enjoy well with the people i'd invited.
i dont wish to be spending a little time here and there and yet in the end, some guests felt i didnt do a good host.
i mean honestly, i'd felt this way too if my friend(s) do the same thing, but still, i wish for more understanding and put myself into his/her shoe.

taking a short break from my studying from human resource management.
the paper dont seem to be a killer because it only consist of 5 topics.
i hope i'd be able to continue with all the memorizing after blogging this quite outdated post.

anyway it was ben's invitation to his house condo for celebration again.
this time round was a pool party and everyone had to get into the pool..
so as all are prepared, the girls had our bikinis and the guys had their board shorts.
supposed to meet at opposite lakeside mrt station bus stop at 5.30.
none reached except me, even the organiser who's no other than YX, left home at 5.30PM.
how great. LOL.

but soon i saw augus and gin walking over.
then met up with jasmine, wayne and zixuan to meet the rest outside lakeshore gate.
yep soon madey came with isaac and YX came with ZW.
benjamin joined us later on at the invited area.
for the night, i'd these group of people for the accompany.

buffet was good and had malibu with pineapple juice.
well something new.
i remembered CNY at BEN'S BBQ was..
chivas and green tea. or malibu and greentea?
regina bought the Moet Champagne as well.
been wanting to try it out and yep it was nice too.

had the cake cutting ceremony,
photo taking ceremony as usual.
the cake from four leaves was awesome.
and another 2 more cakes from bakerzin.

well, we went off by signing our big names on the guest book.
one per page which was really difficult becos i always say the same few words.
"happy 21st birthday.."
"hope you'd enjoyed your birthday with us.."
other than that, i dont really know what to write.
but anyway, i managed to sign off by using markers and upsize my handwriting to at least font 70. LOL.

this celebration was about 2.5 weeks ago but still, if hideaki if u are reading this,

Eyelid Twitching Superstitions and Myths

Millions of people suffer from eye twitching – in some it may be intermittent, brought on by a sudden increase of stress or sleeplessness. In others, it’s more pronounced and can interfere with day to day life. Regardless of which category a person falls into, there’s a goldmine of superstitions that revolve around eye twitching. In fact eye twitching ranks up there with itchy palms and hiccups as the most superstition prone condition! Each culture seems to have its own take on the deeper significance of eye twitching.

In China for instance, where superstitions and myths frequently cross over into modern living, the chief superstition seems to be that a twitch in the right eye signifies good luck, maybe a major windfall. A twitch in the left eye? Not so good. It’s a bad omen; a sign of ill luck headed your way! The entire situation seems to turn around in the case of females; for them, a twitching left eye signifies good luck while a twitching right one is a strict no no! Even among the Chinese, there seem to be as many superstitions regarding eye twitching as the sufferers themselves.

There is even a superstition based on an anatomical break down of the eye. A twitch in the lower left eyelid means you can expect to cry soon while a corresponding one in the right eyelid means good fortune is headed your way. There’s yet another one that claims a twitching eyelid means someone is gossiping about you. We think this is a pretty cool one - always good to know the exact moment when your enemies are bad mouthing you. In any case, all these mental calisthenics figuring out whether an eye twitch means you’re going to win the lottery or have the sky fall on your head, will probably give you enough stress to trigger off a whole new series of twitches!

Next to the Chinese, the Indians are the Olympic champions when it comes to superstitions. The commonly believed one here is just the opposite of the Chinese version. Here a twitching left eye is definitely a good omen, while a twitching right one is considered inauspicious.

The Nigerians go with the Chinese version. Left eye – bad. Right eye – Good.

Another superstition is a little more frightening than the above. It’s not clear where this one comes from, but according to it a twitching left eye means there’s soon going to be a death in the family. A twitching right one on the other hand means an impending birth.

To the Hawaiians, an eye twitch can either mean the arrival of a stranger, or that you’re soon going to mourn for someone.

In Cameroon and some other parts of Africa, a twitching lower eyelid means you will soon shed tears. As far as superstitions go, this one is quite scientific. Tears normally flow from the corner of the lower eyelid. Still on Africa, when the upper eyelid twitches, it’s a sure sign you’re going to meet someone you didn’t expect to see. This one’s also connected to anatomical science, it seems. Surprise and amazement are normally expressed in humans by the raising of the upper eyelids.

If you generally wear ninja costumes your twitching will be even more mysterious.

Next time, your eye twitches in its usual maddening fashion, keep your fingers crossed because something good just might be coming your way! (Be optimistic, people!)

recently, im really into handmade/homemade food.
as you guys already knew, i've been baking; cupcakes brownies etc..
recently i did pasta on my own!

i bought the carbonara pasta sauce from ntuc supermarket
and the healthy & less fat fusili ( my fav pasta at pastamania) from marks and spencer.
a big packet for only $7.90!

well first i cook the pasta till its soften..
dried the pasta using a filter, washed with tap water( to lower the temp)
and soaked it in cold water with the prawns!( making it QQ)
meanwhile i heated up the saucer with oil
put in my fav onions ( i used the whole piece of onion!) to make it fragrance.
then i added half of my pasta and the other pasta with carbonara sauce.
warmed everything up and tadah, its done!
and of cos, topped the own-grated-parmesan-cheese and on-the-dot-grated-black-pepper!

i found it rather cute and think i should own one of it.

now is placed together with the soft toys given by others..
i've never bought a soft toy for myself before either..
bought it together with the clinique eye cicle cream.
it was real good. reduce puffiness and dark eye circle.
it comes in rather solid form of cream rather than usual creamy and wet cream.
my first try and i guess it recommended!

been to botanical gardens before?
i mean seriously, i feel real good after spending the whole afternoon there.
thou' it rain, a sudden downpour,
the air became fresher after the rain.

we caught ourselves hiding under the shelter for at least 45mins
and there was this group of ladies celebrating birthday for one of them.
they were really sweet to prepare all the food.
so hello-kitty-ish and they cut the food to all cute sizes and deco.
to some extent i couldnt take it.
hahahaha.

anyway, we spent our day walking around..
looking at plants fishes and trees..
im busy snapping close shots of the flowers.
i got pretty excited as i think its the first time of my life to see swans.
they're real pretty elegant and i couldnt stop laughing when i see one of the swans (out of four swans, two were kept in the cage thou')
trying very hard to let it's wings up to stay for long.
but honestly its really really nice that they are able to do such movement.

this post gonna be filled with colourful flowers!
or rather, orchids!

we got ourselves to the cold room and i really don wish to get out
the weather nowadays is really unbearable.
but still i hate it when it rains when im heading out
finding myself get the trouble to bring umbrella..

kinda scary or rather, we werent aware of such thingy.

we'd our break at the food court for some drinks and guess what?
i prompted to go and look at the private houses behind the garden area.
the houses are real big and spacious.
some even had their own power house.
my aim was to look for the house that eileen's boss (roney) once brought us over to see that real big and fucking rich house.
its the goodwood park hotel's boss.

but anyway we failed to look for the house because i really had no idea where it was.
hahahahahaha.
instead, i found one palace inside the area.
( no kidding. its palace, no pics thou'..should have taken.)
and we ended up at orchard parade hotel area there.
which is near forum mall.

took bus pver to dempsey hills and had our dinner there.

i worked 14 hours yesterday at isetan private sales for burberry kids.
i'd only 5 hours of sleep before..
and im so freaking tired by mid afternoon, like around 2PM.
but anyway they didnt bring in alot of stocks and our stuffs were already grabbed up by 2PM.

its kindof scary cos people were already queuing up outside at 8AM when it opens at 8.30AM.
i'd have slept at home please, if not for working.

throughout the holidays, other than working,
have been scheduling my timetable for fishing, baking and family.

well, been to lim chu kang after the whole of my 18years
and been passing by there while driving,
as i live a few streets across chua chu kang..

we visited fish farms and pet farms.
im starting to like dory fish as they are always attracted by the movement
( unlike fishes which barely move no matter how hard you try to use ur finger and smoove on the glass pane.)
interestingly, i prefer the yellow than the red colour
( remmeber i've this fetish for red... oh, i hope im not starting to like yellow either!)

anyway it was good and relax while visiting these farms.
been a tiring day as i drove around with a idiot.
but at least he did manage to understand the map at last.
oh yes, we did try the fish spa and it was pretty scary to put ur legs in the pool where the larger ones are at.
being timid, i'd my feet at the smaller fishes pool.

plan for dinner was to head greenwood but was changed
as i accidentally drove to engneo ave exit and tadah, using SLE CTE back to BKE.
kinda my fault as i remembered its near engneo ave.
dont really wanna spend the time on traffic jam so headed to yishun area.

he recommended this upper thomson area where theres a row of shops with good food.
oh yea i googled and its known as casuarina.
we decided on Sze-char and had our savory chicken wings.
its a must try and we couldnt order the crabs as there were only two of us.
its like every table had crabs.
im not exaggerating but next to our table, they ordered chilli crab and black pepper crabs.
one plate is at least 2-3KG.
and seeing them licking on the fingers made us even hungrier before the food comes.

another place was pasir ris farmway 1,2 and 3.
the place was indeed smaller than lim chu kang and we finished exploring the place within 2hours.
we saw ducks and chickens and hen. hahahha
kinda like back to my child days where i always see the hens in the cage opposite my old house,
everytime when i had to pass by while heading to school.

after which, we spent our time at the giantic IKEA and GIANT.
well the building structure was rather more foreign like aussie where shopping malls were laid short and huge/wide and independent too.
we finally had our dinner at greenwood ave which i'd mentioned few posts away.

it'll be less tiring this week but hectic days next week.
schools been so-so and i hope common tests to be here real fast and over.
hahahha.

im surprised by the rate of increased readers everyday

been to joo chiat and hunted for the good popiah.
its was a damn hot afternoon and both of us were perspiring like mad..
it was ranked 3rd in straitstime and two bucks per roll.
you guys may want to try but personally, i prefer the one at coronation plaza at bukit timah..

been to goodwood park ave and tried the fish market too..
after reading from ben's blog about that.
the pricing was rather steep but it tasted good.
or i should say i cant really afford though.
but once a while im fine with it.
wanted to try the tiramisu too but we were too full for that.
i'd my pasta and he had his fish catch of the day.

i spent around 2.5 weeks to finish the cross-stitch.
the result was pretty good too as i did edit some part of it.
the frame was bought at $3.90/pkt (2 pieces) at ikea !!
freaking cheap compared to getting a specially made frame.

vesak day tmrw and im heading for work.
its freaking nine bucks per hour.
who wouldnt want to do? hee.

been heading out to fishing with d.
sembawang park and ecp ford road,
and sometimes with unclem, steph and family too.
i got tanned in a while and now im back to fair.
best part of it was get to chill out, sit back and relax by the seaside..
chatting and laughing about almost anything we talked.
was pretty bored when fishing at sembawang so i peeled off the
plastic wrapper of the green tea bottle and made it into roses.
( be eco-friendly, save the earth please!)

steph invited us over for the bungalow chalet at ecp a week ago.
it was good, extremely spacious ( with 4 freaking big rooms!)
bbq was definitely enjoyable with the black pepper sauce marinated.
got to chill out with steph' friend alex and another lady.
didnt take shoot of the chalet though..

well i did attend the dinner.......
jus wanted to experience so i agreed when jeaneve asked me yea
tix were booked kinda long ago and 48$
almost din want to go but dont wanna waste the money
so i went with jeaneve and jane tgt in a cab.

this is kinda not so boring though and ended early
just an usual workshop for some module.
building some tallest towers.....

been long since i went there.........
but remembered having pizzahut delivery twice when e girls came over my house.
anyway kinda miss having it
went there with classmates after sch that day.
but i ordered pastas instead.

had trg til 9pm and me and wt rushed bck my hse for party!
cabbed here and there...........

finally zouk at 10.30pm.
surprisingly early than planned and omfg long queue.
queued for almost 1.5hrs and got in.
and started partying weeee.

left at 3am and find 2 xy at clarke quay..............
wanted to have supper but headed home insead.
reached hm at 4am.
had mac for breakfast again at 5.30am................

sleep and woke up nw only leaving me wt and eileen.
2xy went for work!
had pizzahut for brunch.
i slept at 6.30am and woke up at 10.30am.
still feeling energetic!

slacked really like shit til 4 when xingyi came bck.

continued to slack........ til 6am and went for dinner.

headed to sunset way for dinner initially steamboat.
